2. Waterworks Wednesday: Brookline: Olmsted's Vision of the Model Suburb: Keith Morgan, Director of Architectural Studies at Boston University, will speak about "Brookline: Olmsted's Vision of the Model Suburb."

5. Making Sense of the Middle East -- A Reporter Examines Reality and Becomes an Activist: Alan Elsner, J Street's Vice President for Communications, has had a long career at the top ranks of American and international journalism, much of it focused on issues of peace in the Middle East. As State Department and later White House correspondent for Reuters News Agency, Elsner traveled the world with Secretaries of State and was the agency’s chief writer on 9/11/2001 and through the subsequent period.
