Hazmat Leak At Larz Anderson Skating Rink
BREAKING: Authorities say Larz Anderson was closed for a number of hours after a Zamboni -related leak, prompted a Haz Mat response.

BROOKLINE, MA — Larz Anderson Park was closed for hours after a Hazmat leak was reported at the skating rink in Brookline Sunday. After a clean up it was reopened Monday morning, according to police.
Brookline Police and fire department officials were on the scene with a Haz Mat crew looking into just what happened, according to fire officials. It turned out: The refrigerant system in the Zamboni room leaked, causing the spill.
Police at the start said the leak was not suspicious, but asked residents to avoid the area between 3: 30 p.m. Sunday and around 11 p.m.
