International Yoga Day 2019: Free Yoga In Brookline, Despite Rain

It was a bit rainy outside Thursday evening, but that didn't put too much of a damper on the holiday.

BROOKLINE, MA — Rainy skies and a wet field didn't dampen Brookline’s 4th annual International Day of Yoga celebration, but it did move it indoors this year.

The yoga class took place at Brookline High’s Schluntz gym on Thursday, June 20 at dusk.

Instructors from local yoga studios, Down Under School of Yoga, Coolidge Yoga and Yoga Hub, again were accompanied by Josh Knowles on violin as they walked around and helped offer advice or adjusted students - some completely new to yoga, others at it for years.
