Your holds are still available to you any time during regular library hours, no appointment necessary. Here’s how it works:

  1. Reserve materials yourself through our online catalog or call 617-730-2370 ext. 3 for assistance from a librarian.
  2. Wait for email confirmation that your items are ready for pick-up, then come to the Library. All patrons over 2 years of age must wear a mask or face covering over their nose and mouth, regardless of vaccination or testing status.
  3. Tell your name to the staff member at the doors.
  4. Staff will retrieve your materials off our holds shelf and check them out for you.

If you’re homebound or unable to wear a mask, contact Mutual Aid Brookline to pick up your library materials for you.
