Racial Justice Candidate Forum Coming Up In Mid-April
Candidates for Select Board, School Committee, and Housing Authority Board will speak at Brookline for Racial Justice and Equity's forum.
BROOKLINE, MA – Brookline for Racial Justice and Equity will hold its annual Racial Justice Candidate Forum in mid-April.
The forum will be held on April 12 at 6 p.m. via Zoom. The event will also be live streamed by Brookline Interactive Group. Community members can register for the forum here.
The event moderators will be Emy Takinami and Raul Fernandez who will ask a series of questions to candidates from the Select Board, School Committee, and Housing Authority.

- Arden Reamer, John VanScoyoc and Paul Warren for Select Board;
- Suzanne Federspiel, Andy Liu and Mariah Nobrega for School Committee (3-year term);
- Natalia Linos and Chris Mutty for School Committee (1-year term);
- Sue Cohen and Kimberley Richardson for Brookline Housing Authority Board
After a brief opening statement from each candidate, the moderators will ask a series of questions followed by individual closing statements.
Brookline’s annual town election will be held on Tuesday, May 2, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In-person early voting begins Saturday, April 22 and will run through Friday, April 28. The last day to register to vote in the town election is Saturday, April 22 at 5pm.
The last day to request a vote by mail ballot is Tuesday, April 25 at 5pm – all registered voters may request a vote by mail ballot.
