  • Sunny and warm: Looks like a nice day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect sunny skies with a high temperature near 55 degrees (warm for us New Englanders). Partly cloudy tonight with a low around 34. 
  • Public meetings: The Burlington Housing Authority is meeting at 10 a.m. at the offices at 15 Birchcrest St. The Planning Board is meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the main hearing room at Town Hall. 
  • Jim Curtin Testimonial Dinner: Friends and colleagues of Jim Curtin’s are planning a dinner to honor Jim, who has retired after 52 years as coach of BHS’s baseball team. The buffet-style dinner will be at 6 p.m. at Cafe Escadrille. Click here for more details.
  • Harlem Superstars: The Harlem Superstars are coming to Burlington High School Today at 6:30 p.m. The Harlem Superstars will challenge the Faculty Dream Team comprised of teachers from Burlington and Wilmington Public Schools. Cost is $8. Click here for more information.
  • Bridge: The Burlington Public Library is hosting two bridge playing events today. The first is COA Bridge Players, a group aimed at seniors, which will meet at 1 p.m. The second is the Thursday Night Bridge group, which meets at 6:30 p.m. Both sessions are open to the public, so come down, play some bridge and meet new people.
