- Morning showers: Overall it looks like a nice, but windy, day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 7 a.m. Otherwise partly sunny with a high near 71 degrees. Wind gusts as high as 30 miles per hour. Chance of showers tonight and otherwise cloudy with a low around 49.
- Public meetings: Ways & Means is meeting at 12 p.m. in the Town Hall Annex Building Department office. The Information Systems Advisory Committee is meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Executive Conference room. The Board of Health is meeting at 7 p.m. in the main hearing room at Town Hall. The School Committee is meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the meeting room at Burlington High School.
- New career help: The Burlington Public Library is hosting a Career Transition program from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. today. This is a networking and workshop dedicated to providing a 'roadmap to re-employment' for transitioning professionals. It is free and all are welcome.
- Storytimes: The Burlington Public Library is offering a three story times today. The first is Toddler Storytime for children 18 to 36 months at 10:13 a.m. followed by Preschool Storytime for children 3 to 6 at 11 a.m. In the evening the library is hosting Pajama Storytime for children 3 to 7 at 7 p.m.
