Amazon Plans All-Day Hiring Event In Burlington
The event is part of a nationwide push to fill 150,000 positions across the U.S.
BURLINGTON, MA — Amazon personnel will be in Burlington on Wednesday looking to hire for a set of positions across Greater Boston, the North Shore and Southern New Hampshire, the e-commerce giant announced on Tuesday.
The hiring fair is set to run on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn at 5 Wheeler Rd. In Burlington.
The fair has positions available in Revere, Haverhill, Wilmington, Littleton, Nashua NH and Hookset NH.

Positions are entry-level warehouse jobs paying between $17.50 and $21 per hour, as noted in Amazon’s Tuesday announcement. The company is offering signing bonuses of up to $3,000.
Amazon’s push this week comes as part of a larger hiring effort across the U.S. The company announced this month that it would soon hire 150,000 people nationwide to a mix of full-time, seasonal and part-time roles.

Of that figure, the company is looking to onboard 1,600 employees in Massachusetts and more than 3,100 in Connecticut.
In addition to Burlington, Amazon is planning a separate hiring day event on Wednesday in Milford, hiring for positions in Milford, Northborough, Plymouth, and Bridgewater. The Milford event will take place at Milford's DoubleTree Hotel at 11 Beaver St. It will also run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
