The following is from the Burlington Drug & Alcohol Task Force:
Burlington's Alcohol-Free Weekend will kick-off on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on the Burlington Common. Families are invited to join the Drug & Alcohol Task Force celebrating another year of commitment to raising healthy children. Free food, soft drinks, buttons, and musical entertainment are part of the community event that provides family fun without alcohol.
Children who believe that their community cares about them are less likely to drink alcohol or use drugs. Everyone who lives or works in Burlington is invited to show our children how much we care about their health and wellness.
