The first day of school for most students in Burlington is Tuesday, Sept. 2.

- First day: Sept. 2
- Columbus Day: Oct. 13, schools closed
- Veteran's Day: Nov. 11, schools closed
- Thanksgiving recess: Nov. 27 to 28, schools closed
- December recess: Dec. 24 to Jan. 1, schools closed
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan. 19, schools closed
- February break: Feb. 16 to 20, schools closed
- Good Friday: April 3, schools closed
- April recess: April 20 to 24, schools closed
- Memorial Day: May 25, schools closed
- Last day: June 17
