The driver told police they were on their way home from work when they pulled over to investigate the situation and call the police.

Police say the 37-year-old woman was able to get away because the suspect was "apparently startled" by the 911 caller pulling their vehicle over nearby. The woman was found by police shortly after, but the man took off on foot.

"An investigation determined that during the assault, the defendant allegedly grabbed the victim, touched her indecently and dragged her. The victim’s shirt was also removed during the altercation," Burlington said in a news release.
