Burlington Cancels Town Center Beer Garden Due To Rain

Organizers axed plans for their beer garden event this week due to forecasted rain.

BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington beer loves will have to wait one more week for the return of this year’s Town Center Beer Garden series after organizers announced on Wednesday that this week’s beer garden would be canceled due to rain.

The beer garden was scheduled to take place on Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Burlington Economic Development Office, however, opted for cancelation as forecasters project rain with the possibility of thunderstorms on Thursday.

Forecasts as of Wednesday night called for a near 100% chance of rain on Thursday with a possible thunderstorm filtering in across Eastern Massachusetts during the daytime hours.

While disrupted by weather this week, the Burlington Town Center Beer Garden is set to return on Thursday of next week at its normal time and location at 184 Cambridge Street in Burlington.
