Burlington To Hold 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
The town is planning a brief ceremony to mark the 21st anniversary of the September 11th Attacks this weekend.
BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington will mark the 21st anniversary of the September 11th Attacks on Sunday with a brief ceremony on the Town Common, the town announced this week.
The ceremony will begin at 9:50 a.m. at the flagpole in front of the Burlington Fire Department headquarters. All are invited to attend.
The event will join others across the region as communities pause to reflect on 9/11 now more than two decades after the attacks.

In Melrose, community members will gather outside City Hall on Sunday in part for a moment of silence making the moment that the second plane hit the World Trade Center in New York at 9:03 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2001.
Other planned events in the area span from Worcester to Boston.
