Burlington Hosting Hiring Event For Jobs At Hanscom Air Force Base

The base has over 400 open civilian jobs in engineering, program management, computer sciences, security, skilled trades, childcare and more

BURLINGTON, MA — Air Force Civilian Services has announced that it will be hosting a hiring event in Burlington next week, as it looks to fill more than 400 civilian positions at Hanscom Air Force Base.

The hiring event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Boston Marriott Burlington, located at 1 Burlington Mall Rd.

The event is free and open to anyone interested in working for the federal government, according to Air Force Civilian Services. Among the groups encouraged to attend are: college students, recent graduates, active-duty miliary personnel transitioning out of the service, military spouses and veterans.

Officials said there are open positions in many fields, including: engineering, program management, computer sciences, contracting, logistics, financial management, intelligence, security, human resources, skilled trades, childcare, and many others.

Positions range from entry-level to executive-level, according to officials.

"We are excited to bring Air Force Civilian Service to Massachusetts to host this hiring event and connect civilian job seekers to rewarding careers at Hanscom Air Force Base," said Col. Taona Enriquez, installation commander. "We are committed to hiring the very best civilian talent and believe this event will provide an excellent opportunity for us to hire top candidates from various backgrounds."

Hanscom Air Force Base is located in Bedford, Lexington and Lincoln, and it borders Concord. Civilians who work at the base receive a range of benefits, including competitive salaries, health insurance, retirement plans and opportunities for advancement, officials said.
