Burlington Indoor Pickleball Facility Nears Opening

A nationwide brand will open its second Massachusetts facility in Burlington this month.

BURLINGTON, MA — The Picklr will open its indoor pickleball facility April 19 at 40 Ray Ave. in Burlington.

Joshua Cline, a manager, said the rapidly expanding brand has about two locations opening each weekend nationwide.

The Picklr's website lists a total of 85 locations across the country. Another Massachusetts facility is in Westfield.

The Burlington facility will have eight indoor courts and be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

The courts use an outdoor court surface that's the same as the one used by the Professional Pickleball Association.

"We have a partnership with a company called Just Courts that lays them and use a proprietary acrotek blend that is the same in every facility, so no matter where you play it is always the same and reliable," Cline said.

The Picklr Burlington has already sold out its founding memberships. All memberships are now $149 monthly.

Memberships include free unlimited open play, access to social and competitive events, leagues, tournaments, advanced court reservations, four clinics a month, four guest passes, and use of demo paddles from the pro shop.
