Burlington Man Faces Charges After North End Fight
Police said they suspect the man threw another man through a pane glass window.

BURLINGTON, MA - A fight early Saturday morning left at least one man severely injured and one man in police custody in Boston’s North End neighborhood, according to Boston Police.
Carl Larson, 23, of Burlington is now expected to face charges in connection with the incident, police said on Monday.
Police said officers initially responded around 2:45 a.m. on Saturday to reports of a fight on Salem Street near Bova’s Bakery in the North End.

They said they arrived on scene to find a shattered pane glass window and a man sitting on the sidewalk bleeding. Police described the man’s injuries as “severe,” requiring a tourniquet to stop the bleeding.
Police said witnesses pointed to a man, later identified as Larson, who was running away from the area. Police said they chased Larson and arrested him after a short pursuit.

Citing their on-scene investigation, Police said Larson appeared to have punched the other man several times before throwing him through the glass window.
Police said Larson was expected to be arraigned in court on charges of aggravated assault and battery, assault and battery and malicious destruction of property as of Monday morning.
