Burlington Police Arrest Alleged Masked, Armed Bank Robber
A Chelmsford man was arrested Friday in connection with a robbery that took place in January at Citizens Bank on Middlesex Turnpike.

Burlington Police, along with members of the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force, arrested a Chelmsford man Friday, who is allegedly involved in a past armed bank robbery, according to Police Chief Michael Kent.
Miguel Guzman, 29, of Chelmsford is is charged with Committing an Armed Robbery while Masked.
Guzman is believed to be involved in the Jan. 22 robbery at Citizens Bank 248 Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington. During the incident, the suspect, who wore a disguise, presented a note to a teller demanding money. He indicated he was in possession of firearm.

Police obtained a warrant for Guzman’s arrest after an extensive investigation conducted by Burlington detectives and the FBI. Chelmsford police detectives also assisted with the arrest.
Following his arrest, which was made without incident at his residence, Guzman was transported to the Burlington Police Department for booking. He was then transported to Woburn District Court for arraignment.

“I commend the Burlington detectives, the FBI and the Chelmsford police for their dedication and hard work on this case,” Chief Kent said in a statement Friday afternoon. “The arrest today will hopefully bring justice to this crime.”
