Burlington's Amy Poehler, Tina Fey Announce First-Ever Comedy Tour

BOSTON, MA — Comedy legends Amy Poehler, a native of Burlington, and Tina Fey have announced details of their first-ever joint comedy tour, which will make a stop in Poehler's neck of the woods.

The "Tiny Fey & Amy Poehler: Restless Leg Tour" is a four-city tour that will hit Boston's MGM Music Hall at Fenway at 7 p.m. on June 9.

Pre-sales for the shows begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, including an artist pre-sale with code RESTLESS. General ticket sales begin on Friday on ticketmaster.com.

According to ETonline, Fey and Poehler's friendship dates back to 1993 when they met at Chicago's ImprovOlympic theater. The pair co-starred on "Saturday Night Live" and collaborated on blockbuster comedy hit movies like "Mean Girls," "Sisters," and "Baby Mama." They also have co-hosted the Golden Globe Awards four times.

"That's right, you can come see us live and in person," Fey said in a social media post promoting the tour. "It's going to be an evening of comedy, conversation, improv ... maybe a little slow dancing between us. We don't know yet. But it's going to be awesome."
Poehler added: "We cannot wait to see you. I cannot wait to see you in person, buddy. Yeah, let's do it. Let's do this thing."

The tour is scheduled to begin on April 28 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C., then move to the Chicago Theatre on May 20. After the show in Boston, Fey and Poehler are scheduled to perform on June 10 at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic, City, New Jersey.
