Burlington's Karma Asian Fusion Wins "Best Sushi" On North Shore

BURLINGTON, MA — Known for its cross between Japanese flavors and French-inspired sauces and stylized cooking, Karma Asian Fusion was recently awarded "Best Sushi" on the North Shore by the editors of Northshore magazine.

Karma's sushi took home the "Editor's Choice" award at the 2021 Best of the North Shore awards as a standout for their unique fusion. This comes just after the successful opening of Karma's new fourth location.

Owner and head chef Iveron Guo brings years of experience to Burlington, perfecting his sushi training and sharing his skills with others. A Japanese-trained sushi chef, Guo crafted his extensive menu full of unique twists on classic dishes.

"We are grateful to be recognized for our sushi after only opening a few short months ago," Guo says. "My goal was to bring my experience as a chef at some of New York's finest fusion restaurants to my community here in the Boston area."

Guo employs a variety of master sushi chefs - the highest level of sushi chef training, in an effort to continue producing high-quality, fresh, delectable sushi.

One of Guo's signature fusion specialties includes a lemon-basil salmon maki and otoro with caviar and truffles.

But Karma doesn't stop with just sushi. Guo's cuisine offers an impressive display of authentic Cantonese dishes with a blend of Japanese flavors with French and Peruvian elements.

Karma offers $1 Oyster Happy Hour every weekday and encourages guests to stop by and try some, maybe pairing them with one of their craft cocktails or a traditional Mai Tai with a fusion flair.

Karma has three additional locations in Westford, Andover, and Concord.
