September is library card sign-up month. Sign up for yours at the Burlington Public Library, and check out some of the upcoming events:
“The Last Wednesday Book Group”
Wednesday, September 30, 7-8:30 p.m. Join the group as they “Take a literary visit to Greece!” Discussion of “The Devil Takes Half: a Greek Islands Mystery” by local author Leta Serafim is sure to be interesting as Ms Serafim will be joining the discussion! Margaret
Carayannopoulos will lead the discussion of this murder mystery set on the Greek island of Chios. The setting gives the book both an exotic locale, plus characters with a new way of looking at life, and motives that wouldn’t exist if this happened, say, in Cleveland!
Teen Game Day - Friday, September 25, 3:30-5 pm
Bring your friends to play board or Wii games. Snacks provided!
Baby Sensory Activities - Monday, September 28, 11-11:30 am
Amanda presents fun activities to enlighten your babies’ senses and introduce them to group play time. Best for babies who are able to sit up alone.

Join Amanda for a lively discussion, activity, and snack! This month’s selection Riding Freedom, by Pan Munoz Ryan. You may pick up a copy of the book and sign up at the YS desk. Best for grades 3-6.
