Clark Endorses Ken Gordon In 21st Middlesex Race
Gordon is seeking the Democratic nomination in a two-way primary race in the Burlington/Bedford/Lexington state legislative district.

BURLINGTON, MA — State Representative Ken Gordon picked up another major endorsement in his re-election campaign on Sunday, taking to social media to celebrate support from US Representative and Assistant House Speaker Katherine Clark.
Gordon, who has served in the state legislature since 2013, is seeking the Democratic nomination this year against a challenge from Burlington resident and nonprofit leader Timmy Sullivan.
“Ken never gives up,” Clark said in her endorsement message. “He is a consensus builder, always working to grow and support coalitions and find the best solutions to our most pressing issues. From the Roe Act to paid family leave, Ken Gordon has been a partner for progress.”

He discussed action on behalf of reproductive rights and family leave, as Clark noted, in his responses, also highlighting ongoing work to expand childcare and early education access.
"I am in a position to advocate for legislation that will be needed to respond to rights that are being taken away by the Supreme Court, such as a woman's right to access complete health care without government intrusion," he said, referencing the recent Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and related abortion protections.
Gordon went on to note legislation that he filed aimed at "protect(ing) working women who may be affected by another state's laws concerning legalized abortion care."
