Eggs Thrown at Bicyclist, Two Followed by Youths in Mustang

Burlington Police logs from September 23 to 25.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, September 23- 

  • At 4:33 a.m. police issued a summons to a Dracut residence on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. The summons was issued after a Lexington Street caller reported his daughter was dropped off by a friend who does not have a license. 
  • At 9:25 a.m. a Baron Park Lane caller reported someone let the air out of her vehicle's tires. 
  • At 2:12 p.m. a caller reported dirt bikes at Rahanis Park. 
  • At 3:11 p.m. a caller at Sonesta said his boss will not pay him. 
  • At 4:46 p.m. police arrested Antonio Aramal III, 28, of 5 James Street, Burlington, on charges of possession of a Class A drug, failure to stop/yield and failure to keep right of traffic island or median strip. 
  • At 9:11 p.m. a Mountain Road caller reported that two males threw eggs at her while she was riding her bicycle. The caller said the incident happened when she was passing over Cambridge Street onto Bedford Road in Woburn. The eggs were thrown from a dark vehicle with possibly to occupants that headed down Bedford Road towards Winn Street. 
Tuesday, September 24- 
  • At 10:57 a.m. a caller from Lahey Clinic security reported a Fujitsu Tablet was taken sometime between Aug. 13 and Aug. 22. 
  • At 4:28 p.m. a caller at Shaw's Supermarket reported an injured hawk in the parking lot. Animal control responded. 
  • At 6:10 p.m. a caller rom Shea Cir. reported that he and his friends are being chased by a group of approximately 6-7 youths in a black Mustang. The caller said five teenagers exited a vehicle and began running towards them. The callers said they believed they were being chased due to an incident that occurred in Woburn involving another one of their friends. No assault occurred. 
Wednesday, September 25- 
  • At 4:17 p.m. the Fox Hill Elementary principal reported that two youths were operating dirt bikes in the area. 
  • At 5:30 p.m. police issued a summons to a Burlington man on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle (subsequent offense), operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession/use of a false/stolen RMV document, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no inspection sticker. 
  • At 7:33 p.m. police arrested Miguel Ajpop, 50, of 130 Lexington Street, Burlington, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an unlicensed motor vehicle and on two warrants from other agencies.
