Funds Approved To Increase Handicap Parking Enforcement In Burlington

The Select Board approved $5,000 in funds from Operation Access to reduce handicap parking violations, according to a report.

BURLINGTON, MA — The town is increasing enforcement of handicap parking violations through approving $5,000 in funds from Operation Access, according to The Daily Times Chronicle.

The funds, which were unanimously approved by the Select Board, are intended to have a stronger police presence for handicap parking violators.

The current fine for improperly parking in a handicap spot is $300.
