Get Identifying Info For Your Children at the Burlington Police Department
The Burlington Police Department DARE Program will hod a Child Identification Program fro 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on National Missing Children's Day - Saturday, May 25.

The following is a notice from the Simons Masonic Lodge:
On Saturday, May 25, the Burlington Police DARE Program and Simonds Masonic Lodge will hold a Child Identification Program event at the Burlington Police Department headquarters on Center Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Parents and their children of any age are welcome.
This is the National Missing Children's Day, first proclaimed in 1983 by President Reagan. This year, Burlington will not hold a DARE Day carnival, so the identification program was moved to this national day of recognition.

Since 1988, this national CHIP program has identified more than 275,000 children and it continues to assist families. The program provides tools to help law enforcement authorities find and identify a lost or missing child. The Masons of Massachusetts, partnered with the Massachusetts Crime Prevention Officers Association and the Massachusetts Dental Association, donate CHIP resources to make this service available to the public free of charge.
At the event, you child completes a kit that includes an interview video CD, fingerprints, and a DNA cheek swab and teeth impression. All the identifying materials are given to the child's family and none of the information is copied or retained.
