If you notice discolored water coming out of the faucet this week there is a reason for it. The Burlington Police Department <a href="http://www.facebook.com/burlingtonpd" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">posted to its Facebook page</a> that the Department of Public Works will be flushing hydrants over the next few days. According to the post the flushing will begin at approximately 7:30 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. "You may observe discoloration of your water but it will clear up after running your faucets for a short while," Police say. "We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause." If you have any questions please call 781-270-1677.
