Level 3 sex offenders pose a 'high risk' to reoffend, according to authorities. They are not wanted by police.

Burlington has several Level 3 sex offenders who either live or work in the town, according to the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board.

The Level 3 designation is reserved for the most severe offenders, according to the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board. These types of sex offenders pose a ”high risk” to reoffend. They are not wanted by police—and it’s illegal to use the following information to commit a crime or engage in any discrimination or harassment against an offender.

    • Stephen Conti, lives and works at 10 Makechnie Road. Convicted of indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age (2 offenses) in September 1989, rape and abuse of child (2 offenses) in September 1989, and indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age (3 offenses) in October, 1989.

What is a Sex Offender?
A sex offender is any person who resides or works in the Commonwealth and who has been convicted of a sex offense, or who has been adjudicated as a youthful offender or as a delinquent juvenile by reason of a sex offense, or a person released from incarceration or parole or probation supervision or custody with the department of youth services for such a conviction or adjudication, or a person who has been adjudicated a sexually dangerous person or a person released from civil commitment on or after August 1, 1981.
