Malicious Destruction: Outdoor Christmas Lights Cut Several Times

BURLINGTON, Ma. - Excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
Wednesday, Dec. 2
At 12:20 p.m., theft on Ruping Drive. Caller reported a past larceny of an ATV. 2009 Yamaha 450 blue ATV stolen from the backyard sometime in the past week.

At 1:01 p.m., lost wallet reported. Caller reported losing his wallet with his ID and social security card.
At 4:25 p.m., malicious property damage on Sandra Avenue. Party reported her Christmas lights have been cut on two occasions. Woman stated that her Christmas lights have been cut for the second time. Requesting extra checks.

Thursday, Dec. 3
At 11:14 a.m., motor vehicle crash with injuries on Lexington Street. Vehicle vs. telephone pole. One tow needed. AT&T and Verizon notified.
At 7:37 p.m., malicious property damage on Sandra Avenue. Caller reported her Christmas lights were cut. Woman stated a strand of their Christmas lights were cut in the last couple days.
Friday, Dec. 4
At 4:49 p.m., fire reported in area of Chili’s Grill & Bar. Caller reported a wire arcing behind Chili’s. Construction worker doing some welding. Nothing else showing. Burlington Fire Department notified.
At 5:50 p.m. walk-in reported identity theft. Demone Drive resident reported that an unknown person attempted to open line of credit with his social security number from a company in Minnesota.
