BURLINGTON, MA — Motorists will have a little less room to travel on the Middlesex Turnpike over the next few months.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said the left travel lane in both directions will be closed at the I-95 bridge beginning Monday and lasting through June 17.

The lane closures are intended to help construction crews safely work on the bridge. Officials are asking for patience, reduced speed and caution in the area.
