UPDATED: One Killed in Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash Saturday
Mall Road South at Cambridge Street was closed early Saturday night after one person was killed and another was injured in single car crash.
A serious motor vehicle accident that occurred just before 6 p.m. Saturday night, in the area of Cambridge Street at Mall Road resulted in a fatality, officials confirmed.
Details are still coming in, but officials confirmed just before 7 p.m. that the accident resulted in a fatality. It’s also been confirmed the accident involved a single motor vehicle.
NECN confirmed with police later Saturday night that there were two people in the car and one died in the crash. We don’t know the condition of the other individual.

The condition of the other person was not immediately known.
