Nomination Papers Available For 2021 Burlington Town Election
Seats up for election include the town clerk, town moderator, two Board of Selectmen seats and one School Committee seat.
Have you given thought to running for office and making a difference in Local Government? If you are interested in participating here is your opportunity. The Town Clerk's Office (Town Hall) is looking for residents who are interested in getting involved to get information and take out papers for the Town Election on April 10th.
Nomination papers must be taken out by February 17th at 5 PM. There are a number of open seats for either Town Wide or Representative Town Meeting Seats. Those seats include:

Here are the requirements for running for office:
- Any registered voter living in Burlington who would like to participate in local government can take out papers to fill one of the seats
- You must contact the Town Clerk’s office to register as an official candidate for the public office you want to run for
- You will need to get signatures from Burlington registered voters (50) who sign your candidate papers
- Return your papers by mail or using the drop box to the Town Clerk’s office for certification. The deadline for returning your papers is February 19th.
Then you are ready to run for office in the town election on April 10th. All elections are held at the
Burlington High School Gym, 123 Cambridge Street, Burlington, MA 01803.
