Krista R. Toscano, 19, of Lawrence passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital in Boston with her family by her side. Krista was born in Lawrence and is the daughter of William and Robyn (Ouellette) Toscano of Lawrence.

She was a graduate of Burlington High School class of 2014. Krista was captain of the Varsity Hockey Team and played right wing wearing #15. She also played catcher for the Varsity Softball Team wearing #11. In addition, she loved coaching the 12-year-olds softball team Rapid Fire. She loved animals, especially her cat Snowy and volunteered at the MSPCA in Methuen. She loved going to the beach and spending time with her family.

She is remembered to have the biggest heart and she always put other’s needs in front of hers. She had the biggest smile and a contagious laughter that would light up any room. She will forever be the Boston Bruins’ #1 fan.

Krista was predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph Toscano and Robert Ouellette.

Besides her parents she is survived by her brother, Corey Toscano of PA, his girlfriend April Kim of Boston, her grandparents, Rose Toscano of Salem, NH and Cynthia Ouellette of Lawrence, and by her special friend Randy Olsen of Lynnfield, MA. She also leaves behind her best friend Kaela. Krista and Kaela were inseparable for the last four years and Kaela was like a sister to Krista.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 3-8 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, North Andover.
