The Park At Burlington Mall Hosting Touch A Truck Event

BURLINGTON, MA — Children can get up close and personal with big rigs, buses and emergency vehicles and get out their wiggles this weekend at Burlington Mall.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, the Touch a Truck event will take place at The Park at Burlington Mall, 75 Middlesex Turnpike. The Park at Burlington Mall is located across from Fogo de Chao.

The free family-friendly Touch a Truck event will feature over 25 vehicles. Additionally, one family will win a ride-on battery-powered truck to take home.

The first hour of Touch a Truck, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., will be sensory-friendly, according to organizers.

The event also will feature a Stride Fitness pop-up with activities and goodies.

Stride will host a children's workout class from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and there will be arts and crafts and a cozy coupe play area.

Plus, there will be special shopping at Fabletics' outdoor 25-percent off pop-up shop.

The Park at Burlington Mall is a hub for outdoor fitness, family-friendly events, cultural performances and more.

The space regularly features lawn games, oversized swings, bocce ball courts and fire tables. There also is a Little Free Library, which is made possible by the Friends of Burlington Public Library.

• May 16, 23, 30, June 6, 13, 20, 27: Stretch with Burlington Parks and Rec, will feature Zumba (5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.), Sunset Yoga (5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.) and Hip Hop (6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.)
• May 27: Lego City Bus Tour, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• June 1 and June 8: Burlington Mall Cornhole League with Boston Cornhole, 6 p.m.
• June 21: Take your toddler on a musical adventure with Jammin With You, 10 am to 10:45 a.m.
• June 14 and June 21: Summer Dance Series, learn bachata, tango, swing dancing and line dancing with Arthur Murray instructors, 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
• June 15: Sunset Salsa with MetaMovements, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
