Police: 2015 Audi Reported Stolen; Juvenile Shoplifters; Suspicious Person
Excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Monday, Nov. 9
At 8:14 a.m., malicious damage/vandalism on Birchcrest Street. Resident reported his mailbox was damaged early this morning. He heard an unknown vehicle struck his mailbox sometime around 7 a.m.. Fourth time in two years his mail box has been knocked over. No neighbors reported observing incident.
At 2:25 p.m., theft reported at Herb Chambers Audi of Burlington on Cambridge Street. Manager reported a theft of a vehicle from their lot. 2015 Audi A4 stolen off lot at Herb Chambers sometime since Oct. 22.

At 3:59 p.m., dirt bikes at Overlook Park. Caller reported several ATV’s racing through the area. Officers spoke to a resident on Richardson Rd and advised her that all-terrain-vehicles and dirtbike’s are not allowed in the conservation area.
At 8:15 p.m., animal complaint on Route 128 north at Cambridge Street, Exit 33B. Caller reported deer down on the exit ramp.

Tuesday, Nov. 10
At 2:16 a.m., motor vehicle stop on Winn Street at Route 128 north. Citation issued for fail to stop, improper phone use, and no registration in possession.
At 11:56 a.m., suspicious person at Avalon on Burlington. Management reported when a worker was inside one of the apartments, the resident had a gun out by his side. He stated he does that when he does not know who is inside his apartment. Officer spoke to involved parties, no threats made, under investigation. Firearms license suspended license while officer conducts investigation.
At 6:17 p.m., theft at Macy’s. Two juveniles being detained for shoplifting.Juveniles released to parents, and will be summoned for shoplifting over $100.
At 7:39 p.m., large brush fire in area of Burlington Street at Mountain Road.
