Police: Drunk Driving Arrest; Butt End of a Rifle Left Behind; Shoplifting

Wednesday, Sept. 2
At 7:48 a.m., vandalism reported at Arborway Imports. Manager reported two delivery vans were dented and side mirrors removed.
At 11:07 p.m., suspicious persons reported in the area of Terrace Hall Avenue and Sandy Brook Road. Observed a male and female walk out from behind the church carrying several bags. Male was covered in sweat. Spoke to and identified both parties. Same said they were just “cutting through the woods” to get home however there is no path behind the church. Unable to determine what they were in fact doing behind the building. Both parties were sent on their way.

Thursday, Sept. 3
At 2:37 a.m., motor vehicle stop in area of Cambridge Street. Nicholas J. Crosson, 24, of Billerica, arrested for operating under the influence of liquor and speeding.

At 3:25 p.m., identify fraud reported. Woman reported receiving a statement from American Express Macy’s Credit Card in the amount of $4.98 on 8/12/15 and $38.16 on 08/15/2015 to which she has not used in over a year. She contacted American Express and cancelled same and was requested to have the incident logged at the Police Station.
At 3:55 p.m., shoplifting at Victoria’s Secret. Manager reported a man entered the store and stole several items. He fled.
Friday, Sept. 4
At 1:38 p.m., ATVs reported in the area of Mountain Road. Man reported a youth on a dirtbike riding up and down Mountain road. officer spoke to both parties.
Saturday, Sept. 5
At 5:37 p.m., motor vehicle stop in the area of Best Buy. Driver, 28, summoned for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Sunday, Sept. 6
At 4:57 p.m., found property at Extended Stay America. Caller reported finding what appears to be the butt end of a rifle in a room. The person had already checked out of the room Narrative: The item is the butt end of an Airsoft rifle that was left behind by tenants who had stayed at the hotel for over a year.
