Police: Identity Fraud Reported at Flower Market; Purse Found; Malicious Damage to Vehicle

Tuesday, Sept. 15
At 12:42 p.m., report of a six-year-old who threatened to run away from Francis Wyman School. The child was released to his father.
At 2:57 p.m., identity fraud reported at Whole Bunch Flower Market on Cambridge Street. Caller reported fraudulent online activity. Approximately 400 different fraudulent credit card numbers were used in an attempt to make purchases which would have been sent to a non-existent address in New York City. None of the transactions went through.

At 4:55 p.m., handicapped parking violation at North Shore Mall. Placard misuse. Citation issued.
At 8:20 p.m., found property on Middlesex Turnpike. Medical card located in parking lot during park and walk. Owner contacted and card sent in the mail.

Wednesday, Sept. 16
At 7:37 a.m., malicious damage to a vehicle overnight on Hickory Lane. Party reported that his vehicle was keyed overnight.
At 1:39 p.m., property found at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Security reported a found wallet in their possession. Two different IDs found inside a female’s lost purse. Contacted owner of a missing license and Home Depot store credit card. -Unable to establish contact to the owner of the purse at this time. Purse was logged and held for safekeeping.
At 9:41 p.m., suspicious person on Old Concord Road. Caller reported suspicious motor vehicle in the back right corner of the building, Driver had just pulled over to use the Hotel’s WIFI services. Number plates of vehicle were revoked. Plates seized. Truck towed.
