Police Logs: Burlington Man Arrested on Drug Distribution Charge, Obscenity Keyed into Vehicle

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
April 6
- At 12:32 a.m. police arrested Michael J. Morganelli, 19, of 222 Fox Hill Road, Burlington, on charges of failure to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and possession to distribute a Class B drug. Arrest made after a Keans Road caller reported loud yelling in the area.
- At 1:23 a.m. police arrested a Burlington man on a warrant from another agency.
- At 11:20 a.m. a caller reported keyed while at the Burlington Mall. Caller said that when he parked he accidentally hit a neighboring vehicle with the owner sitting inside. He apologized and said there was no damage. When he returned to his car an obscenity was keyed into his driver side door.
- At 1:40 p.m. a caller at Shaws reported a gray Honda parked in the lot with a baby sleeping in the car. Vehicle was gone when police arrived.

- At 11:01 a.m. a Town Market caller reported she believes a customer stole a cash bag from behind the register about 15 minutes before the call. Approximately $200 in cash in a deposit bag was taken.
- At 5:32 p.m. a Fernglade Road caller reported that tires were stolen from the side of his house.
- At 5:45 p.m. a Cambridge Street caller reported that her neighbor, who she has had multiple complaints against, sat in his car and watched her for an hour and half while she visited a neighbor. Caller wanted the incident logged.
