Police Logs: Lit Matches Thrown Through Vehicle Sunroof, $2,200 in Bras Stolen

May 23

  • At 3:32 p.m. a caller at Kohl's reported her vehicle was struck while parked.
  • At 8:01 p.m. a caller reported his vehicle was damaged while parked at Trader Joe's. Three lit matches were thrown into the vehicle's sun roof that was open. Small burn mark on the driver's seat.

  • At 10:43 a.m. a caller at the water tower on center street reported the fence was cut behind the water town and communications equipment may have been stolen.
  • At 4:17 p..m. a caller at CVS on Cambridge Street reported a customer passed a counterfeit $50 while purchasing medication.
  • At 4:32 p.m. a caller reported that a male fell down the escalator at the Burlington Mall and was bleeding from the head. Individual transported to Lahey Clinic by the Fire Department.
  • At 4:54 p.m. a Victoria's Secret manager reported the past theft of $2,200 worth of bras. Theft occurred at approximately 4 p.m.
  • At 5:22 p.m. police arrested George Bernard Harris, 51, of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense).
  • At 7:19 p.m. police arrested a 14-year-old juvenile on charges of disturbing the peace and trespassing. Arrest made after a detail officer reported detaining the youth at the Burlington Mall.
  • At 9:50 p.m. a Westwood Street caller reported someone threw eggs at her house. Four eggs were thrown at windows.
