Police Logs: Man Arrested for Assault and Battery and Attempted Murder
Burlington Police Department logs for May 12 to 13.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
May 12
- At 1:44 p.m. a caller at Market Basket reported her vehicle was struck while parked in the lot and the other driver left no contact information. Minor damage.
- At 2:09 p.m. a caller reported their credit card was stolen last Saturday at Panera Bread. She needed the incident logged for the credit card company.
- At 3:27 p.m. police arrested Marques Lesage Dorvilmar, 28, of 91 Rockdale Street, Boston, on charges of assault and battery and attempted murder. Arrest made after management at the Marriott Hotel called to report a female guest was seeking assistance. The woman reported being assaulted by her boyfriend several hours earlier. The arrest was made at 4:44 p.m. at the hotel.

- At 10:25 a.m. a caller at the Gulf Station at 181 Cambridge Street reported a hit and run accident. Parked car was struck causing damage to passenger side front bumper, light lens and quarter panel.
- At 1 p.m. a caller reported receiving fraudulent checks for wages due.
- At 3:25 p.m. a Sunset Drive caller reported her son had a problem on the school bus that day. Youth services detective to be notified.
- At 10:14 p.m. a Chestnut Avenue caller reported a vehicle driving by holding down the horn. Caller said this is the second time in a week. No description of vehicle. Possibly due to Bruins win.
