Police Logs: Man Arrested for Credit Card Fraud, Summons Issued After Road Rage Incident

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
May 27
- At 8:59 a.m. police arrested Jason Paul Rivera, 28, of 14 Dumaine Avenue, Nashua, N.H. on charges of credit card fraud over $250 and forgery of a document. Arrest made after a caller reported having his credit card stolen and it was used in Burlington. Rivera allegedly used the card to buy food and rent a room at Candlewood Suites.
- At 5:17 p.m. a Westwood Street caller reported the left rear window of their motor vehicle was broken by an unknown object.

- At 12:43 p.m. a caller on Third Avenue reported an injured hawk on the side of the roadway by some pine trees. Animal control reported that the hawk was feeding a baby hawk under a tree and was okay.
- At 12:49 p.m. a manager at AMC Theaters reported illegal dumping. Beer bottles were dumped in the lower lot.
- At 1:03 p.m. an Arboretum Way reported a squirrel in her apartment.
- At 1:30 p.m. a caller reported that she put her wallet in the closet of housekeeping at Lahey Clinic and someone stole it.
- At 2:27 p.m. police issued a summons to a Burlington man on a charge of disorderly conduct. Summons issued after an officer pulled him over for road rage.
