Police Logs: Man Arrested on Drug Charges, Remnants of Explosive Device Found at Reservoir

Burlington Police Department logs for June 4 to 5.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

June 4

  • At 12:26 p.m. a caller at the Apple Store reported his iPhone 4 was stolen while he was at a gas station in Woburn. Police advised him to call Woburn police.
  • At 2:18 p.m. a caller at Executive Park reported people in a vehicle smoking narcotics. Small amount of marijuana found and removed from the cooperative party. Marijuana was destroyed.

June 5

  • At 10:42 a.m. a caller at the Marriott Hotel reported that while he was at the hotel bar the night before. Phone is now in Woburn. Woburn Police tried to locate the phone through tracking system but by then the phone was moved to Route 95.
  • At 1:21 p.m. a Burlington High Student reported their iPad was stolen from the music room on May 17.
  • At 1:29 p.m. police arrested Roberto Luis Reyes-Colon, 21, of 12 Supple Road, Apartment 3, Boston, on charges of distributing a Class A drug, possession to distribute a Class A drug, possession to distribute a Class B drug, a drug violation near a school/park and failure to stop/yield.
  • At 2:13 p.m. police searched the reservoir with Woburn Police and found items from an exploded device in the parking lot. Investigation was in connection to an arrest of a Woburn man on charges related to possession of explosive devices. 
  • At 7:10 p.m. a Cedar Street caller reported a small raccoon in a tree that appeared to be sick. Police attempted to contact animal control and gave caller number for Wildlife Control.
  • At 10:26 p.m. a caller reported that while on his driver's was driving on Cambridge Street a teenage male threw a rock through the van's windshield. The teen was in a dark gray Buick with other males in the vehicle.
  • At 10:23 p.m. police placed a Florida man into protective custody after the Burlington Mall reported a drunk male yelling at people on the premises.
