Police Logs: Soda Thrown At Vehicle in Road Rage Incident, Man Says Motorcyclist Punched Him
Burlington Police Department logs for May 5 to 6.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
May 5
- At 12:06 a.m. a man flagged down police on Winn Street to report a road rage officer. The man said another motorist threw a cup of soda at his vehicle.
- At 1:38 p.m. a caller on Middlesex Turnpike reported a white male on a black motorcycle went by him and punched him on the shoulder. Lexington Police notified.
- At 3:31 p.m. Burlington Mall security reported a motorcycle parked in a handicap space. Citations issued.
- At 6:45 p.m. a Cierra Way caller reported ATV/dirt bikes near the high-tension wires.
- At 7:10 p.m. a Birchcrest Street caller reported a possibly sick raccoon in her back yard. Animal was gone when police arrived. Caller advised to call back if the animal returns.
- At 10:39 p.m. a Heritage Way caller reported suspicious activity. She said that when she left that morning the screen door on her home was closed but when she returned the storm door was held ajar by a planter. Police checked and no signs of forced entry found. Screen door was damaged but the window was locked and undamaged.

- At 1:28 p.m. a Harriett Avenue caller reported a utility truck parked on the street. Resident was upset because a Verizon utility truck was parked in front of their house as a worker serviced a local business. Truck was not blocking driveway. While speaking to the resident they became verbally abusive to a Verizon worker and police.
- At 3:37 p.m. a caller from Uno Chicago Bar & Grill reported a male party who had been harassing on of the waitresses was in the restaurant asking about her work schedule. Male was trespassed from the restaurant.
- At 4:55 p.m. a caller from Simonds Park reported a woman was smoking in the playground area where there are "no smoking" signs. Caller said the woman was also yelling at other parents who asked her to put the cigarette out. Police advised her of no smoking policy in park and she agreed to adhere to it.
