Police Logs: Suspicous Van Reported Again at Bus Stop, Fight in Shaws Parking Lot
Burlington Police Department logs for April 10 to 11.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
April 10
- At 8:59 a.m. a caller from Francis Wyman Elementary School reported a blue van was in the area of a bus pickup again. Police located one possible vehicle of interest and the area and spoke to the operator. The driver was not available to speak immediately and police will follow up.
- At 11:54 a.m. a Douglas Avenue caller reported an unkown black female walked into a neighbor's garage. Police spoke to resident and checked home but were unable to find anyone. Advised caller to call 911 if needed.
- At 4:01 p.m. a caller at Market Basket reported an infant unattended in a vehicle. Police unlocked the vehicle and the child appeared fine. Mother returned five minutes later (about 20 minutes since call).
- At 6:24 p.m. a Crawford Road caller reported being threatened by a driver of a New Hampshire vehicle. Caller said the threats may be related to an incident that happened last month in Woburn where her nephew got into a fight with a group of kids.
- At 8:31 p.m. a manager from Homestead Studio Suites reported a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers was attempting to open windows on the first floor. Suspect was also attempting to find unlocked vehicle. The same man was asked to leave hotel the night before after falling asleep in the lobby. The man was gone when police arrived.
- At 9:04 p.m. a person came to the station to report her vehicle was stolen from Cambridge Street. Vehicle was located in Lawrence and had been involved in minor hit and run accident.
April 11

- At 8:50 a.m. a Travers Lane caller reported someone shot a pellet gun from their residence window at a group of turkeys. Police attempted to make contact at home but nobody was there. Police to follow-up.
- At 5:13 p.m. a Mill Street caller reported receiving threatening text messages and phone calls from an ex business partner. Police report states that no threats were made and this is a civil matter. They did contact the other party to advise them to cease calling.
- At 5:15 p.m. a caller from the Hess Station on Cambridge Street reported a vehicle left without paying for $45.28 in gas. Vehicle was a black Honda.
- At 6:36 p.m. a caller from Shaws reported a fight in the parking lot. Victim assaulted after altercation in crosswalk. Multiple witnesses reported the aggressive party was profane and fled the area.
