Police Logs: Woman Arrested for Assault, Dead Animal Found Laying on Car Windshield
Burlington Police Department logs for March 29 to 30.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
March 29
- At 8:37 a.m. a caller from Oracle reported vandalism to the building overnight. There was graffiti 'tags' written sometime overnight on the outside of the retaining walls.
- At 10:13 a.m. a caller stated she was almost attacked by a dog on Lexington Street while she was walking her dog. She asked police to speak to the owner about keeping the animal under control.
- At 12:44 p.m. a caller at the Burlington Mall reported a man and a woman were fighting over a parking spot. The parties were gone when police arrived.
- At 6:02 p.m. a caller reported his vehicle was struck in the parking lot of the Burlington Mall and the other vehicle fled the area.
- At 6:46 p.m. a caller at the Middlesex Turnpike Shell reported a man entered the station, had some words with him and spit on him.

- At 3:08 a.m. police found an unoccupied vehicle at Rihanis Park near the tennis courts. The vehicle had a dead rabbit placed on the windshield in a purposeful manner. Police checked the area for anyone but did not see anybody. Left message for owner to contact police.
- At 10:56 a.m. a manager from Pyara Spa and Salon reported finding a threatening not on the door that morning. Caller stated when she arrived at work she found a bag which contained personal belongings of hers and a note attached to it that she thinks was meant to embarrass her in front of the employees. The note was left by a former boyfriend. Police contacted him and advised him to stop.
- At 1:54 p.m. police arrested Judith Ann Oresick, 53, of 23 Sparhawk Drive, Burlington on a charge of assault and battery. Arrest made after a neighbor reported domestic incident.
- At 5:13 p.m. a caller at Carli Convenience Plus reported a white male in his 20s with an IV in his hand was asking people for rides. Man was gone when police arrived.
- At 7:15 p.m. a caller at Olde Towne Liquor Store reported a male outside the store bleeding from what they believed were IVs. Male transported to homeless shelter.
- At 9:24 p.m. a Wall Street caller reported a group of youths in a mini-van possibly drinking alcohol. Police transported two minors to the station who were picked up by their parents.
- At 11:35 p.m. a Wilmington Road caller reported hearing a lout crash outside his home and when he went to look he saw his mailbox had been hit by a vehicle.
