Police: Shoplifting Arrest; Two-Vehicle Crash; Fraudulent Check

At 12:59 a.m., motor vehicle stop on Cambridge Street. Citation issued for operating after revoked registration and no plate light. Vehicle towed.

At 2:43 p.m., two-vehicle crash on Cambridge Street in the area of Route 128 south. No injuries reported.

At 3:48 p.m., past theft reported by Edgemere Avenue resident. Reporting party reported that someone wrote a fraudulent check on his bank account.

At 5:30 p.m. motor vehicle stop on Middlesex Turnpike. Driver summoned for operating after a suspended registration and uninsured motor vehicle.

At 7:12 p.m., shoplifting arrest at Macy’s. Security reported having a shoplifter in custody.Amina Sabil, 43, of Everett, was arrested for shoplifting over $100 and resisting arrest.

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
