Police: Shoplifting Arrests; Wallet Lost at Macy's; ID Theft

BURLINGTON, MA - Excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
Saturday, Dec. 5
At 5:25 p.m., theft reported at Macy’s. Party reported losing a wallet at Macy’s on Saturday afternoon. Wallet contained Massachusetts ID, DCU checkbook, debit card, credit card, Capital One Credit card, Juniper Credit card, Citizens Bank credit card, Macy’s Credit card, Boston Medical Hospital card, MassBay student ID, Boston Healthnet card. Police advised reported party to cancel cards. No fraudulent activity at this time.

Sunday, Dec. 6
At 9:26 a.m., credit card misuse reported by phone. Danvers man reports his TD Bank Debit card was used in New York either on Dec. 4 or Dec. 5. $1,508.50 was withdrawn at a unknown location in New York. he was advised to contact his bank and local police department. Assisted male party notifying TD Bank. Fraud Alert.

At 5:10 p.m., shoplifting at Microsoft Store in Burlington Mall. Mall security reported observing two shoplifting suspects from the Microsoft Store and they have followed them into Lord and Taylor. Two arrests made: Juvenile, 16, and Rajah A. Wright, 18, of Boston, for shoplifting over $100.
Monday, Dec. 7
At 12:23 a.m., past theft. State police called reporting they have a motorist stopped in another jurisdiction, and are investigating possible stolen items in his possession.Burlington officers were able to confirm that at least one item at this time was stolen from a Burlington residence after contacting owner. Arrest made.
At 1:53 p.m., credit card misuse reported. Brantwood Lanes resident reported fraudulent activity on her debit card. Someone used the woman’s Metro C Debit card between for approximately $500.
At 3:20 p.m., shoplifting at Kohls. Stacy E. Craig, 42, of Nashua, N.H., was summons for shoplifting.
