Police: Suspicious Men Reported at High School Football Game; Phone Threats; Car Fire

Thursday, Sept. 17

At 7:16 a.m., motor vehicle stop on Cambridge Street. Two citations to be issued via mail for blocking and intersection. Second vehicle, operator under 18, also cited for texting and driving.

At 8:42 a.m., credit card misuse on Wheatland Street. Caller reported her credit card was used to make catalog purchases. Merchandise shipped to a location in Oregon.

At 9 a.m., wires pulled down on Gayland Street. Caller reports large truck pulled wires down. Comcast notified.

At 1:02 p.m., phone threats on Seven Springs Lane. Caller reports receiving threats. Brandon M. Donovan, 20, of Wilmington issued summons for threat to commit a crime.

At 7:21 p.m., walk-in from Carol Avenue reported that someone stole and used his Bank of America Credit Card in Melrose.

At 10:24 p.m., car fire reported inside a garage on Bruce Street.

Friday, Sept. 18

At 10:28 a.m., K9 assisting Bedford for Brookline Bank robbery.

At 1:41 p.m., past theft reported on Church Lane. Party walked into station to report her ring was stolen. Noticed ring missing on 8/1/15.

At 4:11 p.m., suspicious persons reported in area of Mount Hope Christian on McGinnis Drive. Caller reported males with possible guns in the playground area. Narrative: Located youths playing in the wooded lot behind the school. Same had airsoft guns. Advised the pair.

At 9:40 p.m., report of three suspicious men at the high school football game. Reporting party came into station lobby to report odd behavior at the football game. Three older men who the man said showed no interest in game other than taking pictures of the cheerleaders. One of them just kept his head down as if he was hiding.
