Popular 'Small Batch' Ice Cream Shop Opens Burlington Location
An award-winning ice cream store has opened its fifth location in the state.

BURLINGTON, MA — Holy Cow Ice Cream Cafe has opened a store in Burlington, marking its fifth in the state.
The new shop is at 19 Third Ave. in the 3rd Ave shopping and dining district.
"It's a vibrant area that we're thrilled to join," Founder Mike Schifino said.

Holy Cow currently has locations in Peabody, Salem, Dennis Port, and Gloucester. The Burlington store opened May 23.
Schifino discussed why he chose Burlington as a new location for Holy Cow.

"Burlington's dynamic community and the lively atmosphere of 3rd Ave make it an ideal location for us," he said. "We're eager to bring our award-winning, small-batch ice cream to a new audience and become a sweet spot for both locals and visitors."
The shop has daily hours of noon to 10 p.m.
Holy Cow is known for winning the North American Ice Cream Association's "Flavor of the Year" award in 2022 for "Ritzy AF."
"At Holy Cow, we pride ourselves on our super-premium, small-batch ice cream made with top-tier ingredients and house-made mix-ins.," Schifino said. "Our commitment to quality and creativity has earned us national recognition, including the Flavor of the Year award for our unique creations."
Current flavors on offer include Mintsanity, Milk + Cookies, and Wild Blueberry Pie.
