Results On Burlington High School Project Vote Released
The town has released preliminary results for the vote held this past weekend.

BURLINGTON, MA — Preliminary results show that voters overwhelmingly rejected the proposed Burlington High School project.
The results posted on the town's website showed that 4,861 residents voted against the $333 million plan, compared to 2,240 voting for the debt exclusion that would fund the project.
The vote on the proposal was held in a special town election over the weekend.

The School Committee has applied and been rejected for state reimbursement for the project for 13 years, according to The Daily Times Chronicle.
The High School Building Committee recommended an extensive addition-renovation package in September, which was the subject of the recent vote.
