Town Election: Joe Morandi, Martha Simon, Shari Ellis Pull Papers
Nomination papers are available from Jan. 4 to Feb. 17 for the April 10 town election.

BURLINGTON, MA — Early candidates for the 2021 Burlington town election include incumbent Board of Selectmen Chair Joe Morandi and School Committee Member Martha Simon running for re-election and Town Meeting Member Shari Ellis, who is running for the Board of Selectmen.
Incumbent Selectman Michael Runyan has not withdrawn papers, but plans to run again, he said.
Ellis chairs the appointed zoning bylaw review committee.

Michael Kelly withdrew papers to run for the Shawsheen Tech School Committee. Kelly lost a two-candidate write-in race for a seat on the committee last year.
Town Clerk Amy Warfield, Town Moderator William Beyer, Assessor Paul Sheehan and the following town meeting members have also withdrawn papers to run for re-election:
