UPS and Other Employers Hiring For Holidays

The holidays are right around the corner now, and many companies will be hiring.

UPS will be hiring up to 95,000 part-time workers for the holiday season to keep up with the annual spike in demand for shipping.

The positions will be “primarily package handlers, drivers and driver-helpers,” according to a UPS news release, and the positions could include opportunities for future employment with the Atlanta-based company.

Permanent UPS jobs – including part-time jobs -- come with excellent pay and benefits, according to compnay officials, including healthcare and retirement benefits. At most UPS locations, part-time employees in college are eligible to receive up to $25,000 in tuition assistance through the company’s Earn and Learn program.
